Yea yeah. not 69.99 anova that is onsale too but after using both, this one is a lot better. If you are broke or super value based, anova is still good but this is a bit better (heats water in half the time and much easier to store)

i start off with hot water... and my faucet gets it to 123f... i cook steaks at 120f, so for me speed doesn't matter. my unit also fits in my sous vide container for storage.


i had my anova for 3+ years. is there another reason why this is better? mine just works...

They need to step their discount game up. $120 is a phony discount. Go sub $100. Don't be a pansy Joule company.

I've owned both the anova and the joule and the joule is by far better. However, I totally understand why someone wouldn't want to pay more.

For me, the joule fits in a silverware drawer and the anova is way to big for that. Also, when you put cool food into the water, it lowers the temp, and joule recovers far more quickly than the anova.
