I bought the 256 GB version a few months ago and I'm very happy with it. The nice thing about this laptop is that it has one open, extra M.2 slot available for upgrade, as well as 4 GB on the motherboard directly, and 4GB in a slot that you can replace/upgrade easily. So it's a very upgrade able platform.

It's so darn light that you will be amazed if coming from a standard weight 15 inch laptop. The durability is fine too. The only thing I didn't like, but have gotten used to is the off center keyboard due to the number pad on right. The screen is very bright, and looks great. I've compared it to other laptops in this range and it stands out for me.

Was about to buy but watched a review and the battery life on the 15" isn't as stellar as the 13" (~7 hours vs ~10 hours, according to the review I saw). Just FYI in case anybody's thinking about it.

this isn't the new 2018 model (z980). which has about 20% more battery and thunderbolt on high end model.
suggest get this instead for $1,147 no tax for most of states.

i5 8250u and i7 8550u has same core count but faster boost on i7. which can't be on boosted for long for on this type of chassis.

Yup battery dead right at 13 months. Won't even hold a charge for not even a few seconds. Dead as soon as you unplug it.

Since the last 4-5 years, review are decent. It's extremely unbelievably light, about 2.4 pounds for 15.6". Costco sells them all the time, comes with free 4 year warranty if use citi card.

Guess we can use citicard with amazon purchase too for its warranty.
