You don't post a deal if you want feedback. Try the Deal Talk or Help Me Find A Deal forums.

Maybe run it past one of the Reddit pc buying forums?

Go to pcpartpicker.com and input each of the separate components. That will give you a rough idea of the raw value of the components which of course you would not have to spend time assembling. Don't forget the case. A GTX 1060 to me put you into an entry-level gaming system. The beauty of Costco, of course, is if you cannot game in the following 90 days at the resolution and frame-rate that you are hoping for, you can just take it back.

Pretty good deal. The 1060 can run Fortnite at 60 fps. I have the 3gb version.

It's not bad, but it's also not spectacular. Personally, I'd add some deal alerts and build one instead of buying one. RAM and video cards are going down in price.

TL;DR Not a deal.

The 1060 is nvidia so it is Founders Edition. FE has mediocre cooling and next to no OC capability.

Nothing wrong with the I5-8400. No chance of a bad brand as it's all Intel and is a perfect pairing for a 1060. Shit tier stock cooler though so very little OC headroom.

The RAM in pre-builts that don't list the brand or product number are usually shit tier sticks that don't perform as well as they are listed as or as you'd expect. The speed is listed so minor + there. Optane memory is a genuine surprise on here. I haven't had the pleasure of testing it but to me that only enforces that the actual RAM is not a good brand. When it's a quality reputable brand they will list it as keeping that unlisted just loses sales.

I can't identify the kb and mouse from the picture but knowing pre-builts from places like Costco it's probably chinese knock offs that aren't worth the hassle but look great.

Also not familiar with the case just from looks but the airflow looks god awful.

Absoluty not a deal if you consider the quality of these particular parts. A better system could be built for the same price or lower depending on patience.

Almost all of this could be wrong but from my experience this looks like one of the bad PCs that chains sell using the cheapest parts that look decent to average consumers.
