4k TN Panel, not good for work, not good for gaming either

I'd like to add that I bought this same exact monitor during the very first Amazon Prime Day, back in 2016, and it was for this same exact price. These are just the same deals year after year....

The monitor itself has proven to be not bad and been running great since though! This monitor has since gone from my "main display" to my "movie display". My main display is now an Asus MG279Q, which is a 27 inch 144 Hz IPS. For playing games, the Asus is much much better, but the Samsung is pretty good for movies and simple tasks. Gaming, not so much.

Also only 60hz! However... Still reasonable price and cheaper than Best Buy.

TN panel = twisted nematic ... which is older technology. You wouldn't want TN panels if you want to have wide viewing angles (which IPS panels do). TN panels are ideal for privacy.

TN panels are the best for gaming though due to their high response times, and this monitor has a 1ms response time

How is the image quality at 1440p (non-native)? There's no real reason to run a Windows desktop at 160dpi -- many apps don't work at 125% dpi scaling, much less 164% (a custom setting).

Similar model for just about the same price @ Costco - https://www.costco.com/Samsung-28...93526.html

And it is at COSTCO!! And I vaguely remember it being about $20-30 off on sale recently - but not sure from what starting price.
