Any idea if you could add a SATA III SSD to this and have it be worthwhile? The Amazon question section mentions 2 SATA ports that are empty with a response from the manufacturer, but I can't tell if those are SATA I or III. Is everything III now?

The PSU in the Dell computer appears to be a lower end bronze 460 watt psu that had issues powering a 1070. With a 1080 I would be cautious and you may want to consider replacing the powersupply.

It would be a different story with say the Corsair One, which comes with a higher quality 80 Plus Gold PSU.

I believe the best buy deal is only 16gb intel optane while the amazon deal is 32gb.
