Where can you get a 750W, gold rated, fully modular for "well under" $80? Also you wouldnt be getting a gtx 1080 or even building a pc if you are an average user, so it does make a but of difference Smilie

That's pretty good deal, if you need psu... I wish 1080 was like $420 just by itself, I would get it without doubt. Even tho new ones about to be released...

If you don't get charged tax the BHPhoto one is a no brainer.

I need a Gpu and psu. 1070ti and 1080 are practically the same for the average user. Considering that I'd say the 1070ti is the better deal because you can get that psu for well under 80

I would pay the extra $60 for the upgrade to a 1080 along with a really good PSU.

I got the 850 psu last week from bh for $80 and the 1070 earlier today from amazon for $400. Should I return them both for this deal?

If you're willing to go through the hassle then yes,you are jumping ~20% in performance for almost the same price.

That's not really true at all. There is a spectrum of PC builders. Some want all the features, others don't have a use for them. Hence the hierarchy of different products. That very psu has been $80 with MIR often.
I wouldn't define "$80 with MIR often" as "well under $80"

Does this card qualify for the step up program if new cards are announced by October or do they also have to ship by October?

Well gotta return my 1070ti from amazon now lol. After rebates and selling the power supply it's definitely a better deal. At least for me considering no tax.
