These are SMR right? Not as good as the WD white labels in the easystore for shuck purposes

Correct, but those rarely go for less than $150. Depends on your needs for the drive to determine if worth the extra. I have several of each. HTH

Nice price for sure. Would be better if it were a Western Digital, of all my drives over the years Seagate's have left me high and dry the most. Still a nice price for an 8TB in recent months.

Could use this same coupon for the WD 8TB drives. They came to $155 w/ tax after the coupon. Not the greatest deal, but better IMO for shucking.

Best deal is to use this coupon on anything eligible you want but that, only because BB often sells them for $150. You would be wasting your single-use coupon imo.

Personally I'd go with WD. They seem to have better reliability with their drives. May not matter though if you're just looking for cheap backup and want to save a bit more money.
