I placed an order that came to more than $100 after discounts. The fine print said I'd get a Shipt promo code with confirmation, but I didn't. Anyone else get this, and how did it arrive?

I didn't get shipt promo code either. My order was $100.61 (after discounts and taxes and my 5 percent red card ). So my total was $102. I know I'm above $100 legit.

After taxes is probably your problem.

This isn't an AMEX offer. It's probably $100 in merch. I ordered $120ish last night and got the code.

That is what I found out when I called CS. It wasn't clear that it needed to be $100 before taxes, it just said $100 before discounts. I was slightly short, so I didn't get it.

You can never trust Target offers. Once I got a coupon for $10 off an item of clothing. I bought a few shirts online, thinking I'd pick one that worked when I saw it in person, and returned two. They deducted $3.33 from each of the two I returned. Told me if I'd only bought one shirt, it would've gotten the full $10 deduction, but since I bought more it was divided among them. Nothing on the coupon said that. Many times I've also returned something with a receipt, but they've listed it as without receipt because when they scan the barcode (typically on an item I ordered online, so it's an invoice), it doesn't show up. I'll even show them the order online, give them the order number. I realized what seemed to be happening was if I paid with a gift card, and that gift card was spent down to zero, they weren't finding the payment method when they scanned the barcode on the receipt. So those returns counted against the amount you're able to return without a receipt, even though I had the receipt. I'm growing totally disenchanted with Target, too much BS. They get more like wal-mart all the time, which is sad, because I go there to avoid wal-mart, even paying more than I know I would at wal-mart. No more.

Oops, just realized you mean you were above $100 *before* taxes. So you should've gotten it. Though I'm not sure how you came to less than $2 tax if your pre-tax total was $100.61 and after tax it was $102. Either way, Target should've made it clear what was needed, ideally before you checked out, then followed through.

I didn't get any code either. My subtotal was $116, then I had $18 in discounts (including 5% redcard savings). Tax was another $8, my total was $110. The math is really funky, due to how they apply discounts and charge tax I guess. But regardless I was over $100 in my subtotal AND over $100 in the total (even without tax it would be $102).

The math really isn't that hard on this. They're not going to count tax (they don't see any of it, it goes to the govt) and they're not going to count pre-discount.

They just count they dollars they get.

Okay, I'm ineligible because my red card took another 5% off at the end, bringing my total to $97.26. I don't quite understand how I got back up to $110.43 if tax was only $8... but whatever. Lesson learned.

Sucks.

"subtotal (8 items)
$113.84
discounts
-$18.39
One-day deal: 25% off beauty & cosmetics
REDcard 5% Discount
Save 20% with code UNIFORMS
One-day deal: 25% off floor care
delivery
free
tax
$4.96
total
$100.41

That was my order. Of thAf $18.39. 5% red card discount (roughly $5).

So I didn't know they include red card discount as part of the calculation.

So I would have been bette OFF NOT using my red card for the $5 off

Why not cancel the order and replace it with another item in the order?
