My wife won't buy any bath bombs and scents without smelling them first. Can any lady here comment if that is normal for ladies?

I prefer to smell stuff before I buy it. Unless it's a lotion/bath bomb/whatever that is Lavender or some scent that usually smells the same. But when they have names random like Sea Breeze or Sweet Dreams or whatever, you really aren't gonna know exactly how it smells unless you smell it yourself.
