I'm in for this set.
On another subject, I'm needing a "Craftsman 1/2" to 3/8" Socket Adapter". When I search for it, I get "We're sorry, but that page is no longer available" every time. I've tried for days. If it happens to come up, at the bottom, as a suggestion, I can go to the page.

I have this set. It sat on a shelf for a year until I got into more car projects. Now it's one of the most used sets that I have. It's way better than trying to use the screw driver for torx and other screws that require more torque to get loose.

Same here, went years before using this set, then last weekend installed a Fumoto valve and needed a torx socket from this set.

I also picked up a Craftsman 15pc brake kit and Craftsman ratcheting puller, both are half off right now and they're re-branded Gearwrench tools made in Taiwan so I know they're quality tools.

Good to know. Ill look up the brake kit. Haven't done brakes yet..

I think I have the gearwrench ratcheting wrenches and haven't had any issues.

You can't use "/" in sears search. Either use google to search for it, or put it in as "1 2 to 3 8 adapter" on sears.

As I mentioned in another thread, a lot (or possibly all) of GW rebranded is made in China, not Taiwan. Not saying it is bad, just clarifying.

Honestly these days, I don't think there is any quality difference between China and Taiwan. I think it is 99% perception at this point.

You can get crap or good from any country, even USA. All comes down to what the manufacturer spends on production and materials.

That doesn't work either. It brings up 500 results for sockets & socket sets. Even searching for "craftsman 1 2 to 3 8 adapter", suggestions came up, below the search box, for "Craftsman 1/2" to 3/8" Socket Adapter", which brings up the "page is not found". Their search feature needs some fixing.

Usually what you need will be in the first few results. But if not just go to Google and search for it there (add Sears or craftsman to narrow the results). Should bring up a link to the Sears page you need.
