Great deal on three. I like these. If you need 4, Costco has 4 for $299 (online). I've been happy with these everywhere I've used them so far. There is one known glitch (that happens to some, not all) where it only allows 15 devices. This fills up REAL fast with smart devices, laptops, phones, etc. But software updates and - in one case a factory reset - fixed that. Reps to OP - I needed a 3-pack.

Except for the issues with Rakuten vs Amazon in customer service. After an issue I had with them in here with an Xbox live card, I'd pay full price at Amazon first. LOL

Everyone okay with google collecting more of your data..giving them access to your router is a lot of info
With that kind of logic, why go on the Internet at all when your ISP or the government can spy on you all the time?

You're really not that important even if they could or already do that...

Anyhow. Warm deal?
It's been $207 or $209 a month or less ago.

I can get these for $201 after Amex, would these be overkill for a 2000sqft house? I need a new router and my budget was $100-150 but if this is better than other options I'd gladly spend more. Anybody have recommendations for other routers? Thanks!

Rakuten doesn't take returns. I orders an SSD from them that crapped out after like a week. I had to pay shipping and RMA it via the manufacturer rather than just being able to return/exchange it with Rakuten. For that reason, I will mostly avoid that store going forward.

You can always try and sell the extra one if you don't need the 3rd one. Two might be enough for you, depends on the layout of your home though.

This is not overkill, and would be just perfect. Pay the extra difference, this is one of the best mesh option for the price and ease of setup, stability and use. I set one up in February for my inlaw in a different country and I can monitor it from USA and have never had a problem so far.

isn't it the seller who determines if a product is returnable - Rakuten is just the gateway/portal.

that being said, you probably bought one that had no returns allowed. thats crappy so i understand your POV.

3 cover up 4500sq ft! If you need 4, probably aren't on a deal site 😏
