I read some of the reviews on the other product and some people reported bogus cards and slower speeds...

so i see this posted in the description; what is this supposed to do, assure you it isn't counterfeit?

What you need to know – This product has a serial number that uniquely identifies the item. When your order ships, Amazon will scan the serial number and add it to the history of the order. Should the item go missing before it arrives, Amazon may register the serial number with loss and theft databases to prevent fraudulent use or resale of the item. There is no action required from you and the serial number will only be used to prevent fraudulent activity associated with the missing item.

personally, i think they are doing this to try to help people feel better about their purchase; that they aren't selling fakes. and if you buy a real card from us and you try to return a fake, we'll know it.

it's a stupid idea.

The speed ratings on this SanDisk card show 73MB/s Write and 93MB/s Read. The other SanDisk card that is for $23.80 is only ~45MB/s. For $2.50, almost 2x the speed is worth it.

I would believe that the U1 $26 card is a later 128GB hardware version than the $23.80 from the logo.
