It's Hampton Bay. I just don't get why HD would omit the brand name.

Yes it does but I can't find any information if you have to use the rod or if it can be a flush mount for low ceilings and tall people

Instructions show it is a dual mount:

Hope that helps

Oil rubbed bronze is $26.36
3 light 13 watt uses CFL bulbs
Fan 3 speed / reversible
Intended use up to 20x20' room / up to 5900cfm

Only need one though...

It'd be nice if it had remote, but nothing states it; I'd assume it comes without one.

You can always add a remote for a few bucks more and it still be a good deal.

Do you have to buy some kind of add-on kit to enable the remote feature or simply buy a remote for it? Sorry if I sound ignorant. Not too familiar with how it works with ceiling fans.

Yes, you buy a universal remote kit that has a receiver that you wire into the base of the fan and then use that remote. They start at $20 for a basic model and go up depending on features you choose.

Does it take regular light bulbs and can it be flush mounted? I have a Hampton Bay installed by previous owner that takes regular light bulbs but it has a 3 inch rod hsnging from our low ceiling... Would get one at this price if it's flush mounted and can take regular bulbs. Thanks!
