Great price. Saw this on the Wirecutter as their budget pick.

There was a Prime Day deal on the Remington Verso that I picked up for my FIL as he was looking for a new shaver. I had given him a little Panasonic travel shaver I barely ever used but think the Verso might be a bit more robust. Now I'm tempted to keep the Verso and get him this! I already have a Panasonic Arc3 shaver though haha (although it is 5 years old and the battery has lost some of its life - looks like you can easily replace the battery though).

This is a good deal. I had bought one back in April for $30 from Amazon. It works well. I would not hesitate to buy another and actually am tempted to pick one up now as a spare.

The Panasonic foil shavers are a much better quality product than Remington, you really can't even compare them. For anyone considering this Remington I'd suggest reading the one and two star reviews on Amazon before purchasing it.

I finally broke down and bought a good one of these clippers. I have been using the sub 30 dollar specials for many years to shave and shave my head. I got the Panasonic er1611 something or other. Expensive mofo. We will see if it was worth it. These 20 dollar specials are not bad though i must admit.

how do you stop these from irritating your skin? First time i used a foil shaver, i ended up with a rash like replacement for my facial hair for a good 4 days

I have this razor and absolutely love it. I checked a bunch of YouTube videos and amazon fackspot reviews before I picked it works great.

This shaver doesn't do a great job for coarse facial hair..its less than 10k rpm motorspeed so it takes multiple passes and pressure to get a close shave...some reviewers on Amazon felt it had a "scratchy" feeling from the head quality of the shaver...link says OOS

I've been using these cheap Remington foils for 10+ years, and yeah, sometimes that happens. Don't press down too hard and avoid going over the same area too many times. That's all you can do.
