YES! A ram "deal" that's actually on my board's QVL! For those of you that picked up the AS Rock Fatal1ty AB350 Gaming-ITX/ac board in a recent thread - the TridentZ memory in this thread is on the QVL. Repped!

That's not how that works anymore, all they do to go from 3000 to 3200 is loosen cas timings. The actual performance gain is minuscule

The Trident is 3200... and more importantly, people looking for QVL ram aren't taking a risk on unsupported (and un-returnable) product.

is this worth upgrading from GeIL EVO POTENZA 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3000 (PC4 24000) ?

I bought this when it was reasonable price when ram prices were crazy.

should I stick with this or upgrade to Gskill?

Is the gigabyte aorus gaming 7 (z370 intel) compatible with G.SKILL TridentZ Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Intel Z370 Platform Desktop Memory Model F4-3200C16D-16GTZB?

Its not on the gigabyte QVL list but its DDR4.

I believe Samsung B die works best for Ryzen:

Are there any issues with using mismatched RAM? I have 16gb Ripjaws V 3200 cl16 in my PC already.

Google says these are based on Hynix-M die. For best compatibility with Ryzen, look for Samsung B die ram.

I bought a set of ram that were on my mobos qvl but gave me constant memory management BSOD. Put them in my hackintosh and works fine.
