Meh, not that great of a deal. Have to go there for lunch. Price requires 10x to break even.

After 10x you wont want to go back.

At least someone other than Olive Garden is offering a "pasta pass" of sorts. Enjoyed my one month with the OG .. but sadly if it wasn't lunch only I'd be all over it.

This kind of smacks of desperation by MG. I wonder how long they'll stay in business at all...

Deals like this are not necessarily a losing proposition for the restaurant. It is guaranteed revenue, from some who might not normally eat there. Given their costs, they won't necessarily lose money except to those who eat there more than half the month. Plus, some will visit with a friend, others will buy a drink or have dessert.

MG has been having deals or coupons every now and then for the past couple of years, but are still around. I would certainly not visit there without a deal, so I admit to being surprised that they are able to stay around, although the only real chain type competition is Olive Garden.

There is a location 5 minutes from home, so I will likely use this over half the month, which will make it worthwhile. Enough options that I'll have variety each day.

If I worked near a location I'd jump on it, too. Ten lunches and you break even, and the food is pretty good.

I guess they rely upon people grossly overestimating how often they'll use it, or how soon they'll get tired of the same place for lunch every day.

Enjoy!

Even though I missed out on the $75 price, $100 is still fantastic for this. If I go every day, it's less than $3 per meal. However, MG is too far from me to be able to do this. It's about 8 miles away and my car has absolutely heinous fuel standards.

Wait, wait, wait! According to the website, the $75 price is still good until the end of tomorrow! Fiuck, that's tempting!
