Nice find. They also have the 20qt at a great price right now, $112.49, matching CCC's lowest on Amazon. Plus, through a CB app, you can score 15% and Pelican is not listed as a restriction.
Best deal I've seen on the 20qt non-cb price was Gander Mountain at $107.99.

I been watching prices on these for a while
375 is a nice price if BC doesn't charge tax in your state.
Amazon dropped to $370 on June 27th ( https://urlhasbeenblocked/Pelican...ice_amazon )
and some of the prices on ebay went to about $340 with the 20% off coupon (6/6/18)

torn between this (which has wheels) and the cascade mountain ones at costco for $180

I'd never promise anything, but I've had success on other sales and reduced items when pairing the two sites before. This includes some drastically marked down/clearance Keen sandles with an 18% cb offer.
I told myself I'd pick up a 20qt rotomolded cooler once I found one of my preferred (RTIC/YETI/Pelican/Orca) brands below $100, so I pulled the trigger on this one. With cb, no tax and free 2 day shipping, I figure the end result will be $95.62 for the 20 qt.

I can buy a freezer for less than this. Granted it's not portable. But this is just ridiculous how expensive an box of insulation is.

I'm pretty sure that most of the "knock offs" of these "brand name" coolers will be sufficient for the typical joe.

Most of these high-end coolers, for those that actually use them to their potential (multi-day trips, not just having a cooler to keep your beer cold for a day), there is little difference. I know there are youtube tests out there that show one is slightly better than another, but I'll still argue in real life situations, the difference is negligible.
I really prefer the latching system of the Pelican coolers to the other rotomotolded designs and having their cases as well, really appreciate how tough they truly are and that they have great warranties.

I have a RTIC 45 (I purchased), an Orca 40 (that I was gifted) and these two go on a group float trip with my companions having Yeti, Pelican and some other less expensive varieties (Ozark Trail, Coleman). At the end of a 1 day trip, you can't really tell any large ice retention differences. When you approach days 2-4, the less expensive brands start to falter. Our drinks are still cold and the Pelican/Orca/Yeti/Rtic all have ice remaining in them. You can't really tell which has performed better.

People scoff at the prices of these, but if you need the long ice retention timeframe, they can be a valuable tool. If you're really not pushing them to their limits, go for something in a price range that suits you.
