Good deal for the product, but buyer beware. The speakers on this are ultra tiny and weak, no tweeters, and very muddy bass from the sub (if you can call a 4"driver a sub). Thumbs up for the deal, very average product, unfortunately.

I agree. I have these and fully agree with all that was said. They're good enough for a small room and they'll produce enough bass to at least offer more than cheap pc speakers without a sub, but in terms of actual sound quality they are sub par. I also own the Logitech z4's which are a step up (there is a newer model now for step above these) and they're much better at producing a cleaner sound than the muddy veiled sound these pump out. Honestly this price seems about right and I think I paid about 35 bucks for these 4 years ago. If you're planning to keep them long term for regular use, spend a little more for an upgraded model and get yourself something you'll be happy to listen to than these which you'll likely regret over the long haul.

I actually ended up snipping these at the base of the speaker, rewiring it, and ran new speaker wire to some small JBL Northridge bookshelf speakers. The response of the bookshelves evens out the sub significantly. If a person were a tinkerer (that's a word, right?) then I think these could make for a fun project if you have a spare set of speakers around.

I didn't get this and was looking to buy the z323 as it has a controllable sub, where this sub has no dial.

I have the Harmon Kardon SoundSticks 2 right now. Are these better than mine?

I'm currently using these speakers with my PC and although I'm not an audiophile or anything, I'm pretty happy with the sound for the $30 I paid a few months ago. I will say that they would be a whole lot better if you could adjust or disconnect the sub. All around good value, though.

I bought these years ago from Walmart because I needed some new speakers after the cat ate the wires on my old ones. Sound quality is ok as they're not made to shake the room or anything. The main reason I went with these is because of the power button, headphone jack, and volume control all in one place.

Super helpful. I'd read the same thing about the quality and opted for the $36 z523 instead on prime day. I think the z5 is significantly better.

Not sure if you're serious, or trolling, but no. These are not even in the same consideration as the SoundSticks.

Sorry for the double post, mods, using the app. The 323 also has a larger sub and more power. The sub has to be tamed. With these I couldn't even EQ the bass correctly with software to lessen the muddiness of the bass. Again, that's not to take away from what these are. They're an average speaker that would be fine for a computer user with tempered expectations.

My beloved Z560's just died so today I received these and they are decent for what they are, they don't compare to my 560's but they are also a fraction of the price.

I bought these during a deal in 2016. Terrible sound quality. No bass control knob on the sub. I have only ever bought logitech peripherals, but the quality seem to be dropping.

Bought the MK270 set also in 2016, and used it for a 3 months. Connectivity is was really choppy and I gave up on that also.

No more Logitech for me Frown
