So is the additional 25% that Target was giving on those during prime day competition. Picked mine up today.

You don't need an annual paid membership with this deal. Unlike Amazon and Costco... So...yeah... Its an ok deal for me.

That was my point actually. There's always a better deal to be had if you had a membership, or 15% S&S, it's all about the deal you can get when you need it.

Though to be honest, if I were doing this deal, I would mix it up and not buy all Q-tips (the $5 GC is for 4 of a bunch of different items). I have two of the three boxes still unopened from Costco,

Depends on how much you spend. Costco membership fee I believe is $60. Amazon is $119. I don't enjoy going to Costco because the ones near me are always crowded and I can't spend any less than 1 hour there for simple necessities. No in/out allowance really. And as for Amazon, I've grown to dislike their business.

If you were looking to "get a deal when you need it", then Target is best. I can go in store right now and buy anything I "needed". If you shop on Amazon...you most likely don't "need" it. Its more of a want, since you're considering waiting 2 days for it. (I am aware of prime now, or hour deliveries but those cost extra I believe).

I need q-tips, so I got this and a $5 gift card within 2 hours of seeing the deal. Im aware of the mix and match but then again I am solely focusing on q-tips, which is why I made the post only about the q-tips!

I never said you needed a membership for the 25% that Target, same store different day, was offering when it was competing with amazon's prime day. There was a thread all about this posted here on SD. That was how a number of us learned about the deal from Target.
