Maybe. There have been so many batmobiles, a lot of it will depend on how big a gap there is in the next roughly equivalent build. Plus, not as much in the United States and the Eurozone, but pirated designs are going to hurt direct sales, and I suspect when it comes to "retired" models, it is going to hurt the "Lego collectable" paradigm. Not saying it won't increase in value, but in two years a 67% premium over the "list" price isn't a sure thing.

Nice find. I got one for my 8 year old for Christmas. Those villains are weird inclusions.

I wish their programmable Legos would go on sale

Question about Brickseek, how does this work? Do you have to go to the store and check the price there in person, if it shows up cheaper on brickseek than it does on their website for in-store pickup?

Can you call and ask an associate at the actual store and give them the item number and ask them to check the price?

Just trying to figure out how to confirm that I can see if the price will really show up for what Brickseek says it is, before driving half an hour to find out.
