Cool, the more people who pass, the lower the price will go for people like me, who honestly think 60 Hz RGBW 4k looks the same as 120 Hz RGB 4k. This human eye is easily tricked.

I've had this one for a few weeks now. The colors pop, super bright. It has good viewing angles with the IPS panel. Only drawback is the blacks, contrast ratio is only like 1k so black levels are almost grayish. I would say it's worth $500 easily, but nothing more.

Rtings doesn't indicate if the UK7700 model is a RGBW display (fake 4k) or not. Anyone know?

Someone said it was in an old SD thread but I can't find any supporting confirmation on the internets.

Labor Day sales? Or are you thinking Black Friday? I kinda need a tv sooner than later... thoughts?

Truth be told I was hoping to get a 65" 4K HDR style tv in this price range. So either settle on the 55" inch size here or roll the dice and hope for a 65" in the near future that's equally as impressive of a rig. Thoughts?

I agree here. A lot of set top boxes only display 60hz. So no reason for me to get a tv with a 120hz refresh rate
