That's not even close to crazy. I keep an old HP laserjet II in the trunk running off an inverter. I don't use it for coupons though. I use it mostly for printing out nasty messages for people who take up two spots in the parking lot. I also use it for printing out fake citations for police officers who leave their squad cars running at the local dunkin donuts. Once I even printed out a bunch of flyers about the flying spaghetti monster to hand out at the local church raffle. That didn't go over well. Another time I just got really frustrated because of a paper jam and I shooting my 45 at it and punctured my gas tank a few times. That was pretty expensive to fix, but the printer still works. Can't stop those old hp's I tell you. But yeah, you're not even close to crazy.

Don't most places accept digital scans of coupons now.. like show them your phone and have them scan the bar code

You're crazy. Is it worth it? I mean the cost of the paper would negate most of the coupons value, wouldn't it?

Not much really. I buy it off ali china site real cheap so like 10-25c a print. Costs of savings I get for coupons that are $1-$10 add up fast. Paid for itself already. I do it all wirelessly on my phone to make things easier lol.

The photos from this tiny printer tend to be very warm (almost yellow-brownish).

Instead of this, I bought the Fujifilm Instax for that old instant kodak camera feel. Photo paper is around the same price. Of course, if you want to print from your phone, then the Fujifilm Instax isn't going to get it done.

Yes, there's store coupons, manufacture coupons, competitor coupons. It gets technical when it comes to doing this, but you can make mad savings. Depending on size you can print 2 or 3 coupons on one piece.

Could you provide a link to the cheaper alternative for the photo paper? TIA!
