About $200ish too much for the junk that is a core M processor. Intel is trying to fool people with the re branding to the I cause everyone knows its under powered.

As I stated above its the core M processor but they changed the name so people would not recognize it.

I owned this laptop for a while and had a lot of issues with it. Screen went completely dark intermittently. I had to open the thing up and reseat the flex connector multiple times. Then it eventually would power on and just power off immediately. Basically became a brick.

The form factor was great for tweens/teens who also want touchscreen functionality, but the touchpad response was clunky even when it worked.

Wouldn't recommend this at all unless you could get it at Costco where you had a multi-year return window.

A very undervolted i7 with no active cooling.

Personally I'm a fan of the Core M series. My old 5y10c handled World of Warcraft on low at 1080p and still pulled off 25 fps on average. In comparison to bigger processors that's not impressive but getting that kind of performance out of my tablet made me very happy.

Apparently adorama is great in selling these kinds of laptops, burnt by them with a flex 3 which even lenovo couldn't fix. The screen would go black even when you are working on it.

Bought an Acer once. It was a windows tablet. Had like 4 burnt pixels, which is important since tablets are all screen. Had a heck of a time even getting a replacement, much less a refund. Replacement came in months later, didn't even turn it on I just sold it because I was so fed up with them.

Basically support is terrible

Seems like a mediocre deal for an Acer. Lenovo is another post is 1lb heavier but $150 cheaper

CPU on that one is a year newer and also a lot faster http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i7-7Y75-vs-Intel-Core-i5-8250U/m211988vsm338266
