Lenovo Ideapad 120S 11inch 2gb/ 64gb ultraportable 2.53lb microSD slot $149 Free Shipping

I've been looking for something extremely light and portable for web browsing and basic word processing to lighten the load for travel.

Found this little computer on the Lenovo website for $149 after using the coupon DOORBUSTER34

I've played with similar models at BestBuy, and like the keyboard and form factor. This one has 64gb eMMC so at least not the tiny 32gb, and it has a microSD to add some reasonable storage space if you want. At $149, it's hard to go wrong.

Free Shipping.

Dude, I don't build computers. My limited understanding is that the eMMC memory is hard wired in, and I'd seriously doubt there's an m.2 slot to add an SSD on something this cheap and thin. YMMV

2gb ram winning windows 10 home sounds like a turd, not worth even $150.

i would get the walmart direkt-tek one for same price. It has 4gb memory, touchscreen, 1080p ips, 2-in-1 design, only 32gb emmc but there is m.2 slot for ssd upgrade. I think it includes pen as well. It's a little heavier though at 2.9 lbs.

not sure it's still at $150 but if not I am sure it will come back, it has before.

Edit: currently at $300 but I bet it will drop again:

Currently, I have no need for this, however, sometimes I still rue selling my old Asus X205TA, which was similar, yet only had 32 GB, and it worked good enough for this old man to still miss it.. Personally, I see it as a decent buy, although not a screaming SD. Repped.

Maybe it's just me, but I hate the off center touchpad. Every other laptop I've had, the touchpad was centered.
I am constantly clicking the right side when meaning to hit the left to this day, and I have had the Ideapad 700 for over a year now.

I heard that the 64gb version has an m.2 slot which can hold an ssd. Does anyone know if this 120s has that capability? Also can you upgrade the ram?

Me too! Why is this one even off center? Usually see it when there's a number pad to the right - this one doesn't even look centered to the spacebar. Anyone have experience with this model?

I just use Chromebooks these days but still like to keep a Windows Lappy around. I also have a, hardly used, X205TA collecting dust and wonder if this Lenovo is a decent upgrade????
