I've had an airfryer for a few years now. Got one even before the airfryer fad had hit US. I can honestly say it's one of the most used gadgets in our kitchen.

The key is not to think of it as a 'fryer'. It's a convection oven, but a very good one at that. Of course if you are comparing it to an actual fryer, you'll always leave disappointed. But compare it to an oven and you'll be pleasantly surprised.

It makes cooking some stuff really fast, and without using a bunch of oil. It's great for quickly heating frozen foods that would otherwise need too much time in the oven. Pre-heating the whole oven takes too much time, is not energy efficient, and cooking time is exactly half of what's needed in an airfryer.

Overall, it can't replace an oven, but is a great addition to a suite of gadgets in a kitchen.

I want to get this. Great price, however, it is only available for shipping and it says delivery on Aug 6. I've been looking for one to buy for the past few days. This is a great deal if you are looking for one but don't need it right away. TU!

4.8 out of 5 stars on Walmart.com
3.9 out of 5 stars on Amazon with 2 bad reviews out of 5.

I will take the risk since any other air fryer at this price is too small. May need to look into an extended warranty.

How does this compare to the one that was $60 from Best Buy last week? I know that one had way less digital controls, but at least it had a lot of reviews.

My concern with these off brands is if the accessories are readily available? Or is there a standard form factor, so that generic accessories will fit?

Amazon and WM both say 1800 watts.

Available from several third party vendors via Amazon for $89.

I've got some BB GCs I'd like to get rid of, so I think I'm in for one.

I just ordered the same one??? from Amazon for $78.15 before tax (same digital layout/ face/ options but little different color/ shades... Interesting...) and getting it delivered tomorrow. I shall see how it looks. If same, returning it and getting this one. Does Amazon do price match on same product sold under different brand by others? Or do they have to match everything exactly?

Amazon won't price match at all, even if they lower the price on Amazon. The reps will tell you your only option is to rebuy and return the other one.

Another thing to consider is by tomorrow this sale will be gone. Other one last week was dead by 4pm or so.

Why everybody so excited about air fryer? I thought the myth was already busted. The way air fryer work is really baking your food, not really fry it.

For those looking for quality, get Philips first or second gen. It's best as per my research I did last year. Little costly but worth every penny. We use it daily.
