Not sure about the fabric desert boots but suade and beeswax leather are great. Best boots you can buy IMO.

Agree with beeswax. Suede is great for comfort but do require a little more care. The fabric boots are fine quality wise and fit like any other pair, but IMO are not really as comfortable and also do not wear in as nicely as the suede/leather. I think this is normal given that they are done in a stiffer canvas so that they wear longer, but just FYI for anyone coming from the leather based version.

They look good in photos but when I saw them at Macys, they dont look as good as the other brands such as Kenneth Cole. They appeared to be wider and shorter instead of longer and narrower like the other brands. So I snapped up a pair of Kenneth Cole dark navy blue suede from Amazon for around 32 dollars after the 30 percent off and $5 Amazon browser add-on credits. Will need to purchase a water repellent spray to protect the suede from rain. Can anyone recommends a good water repellent for these suede shoes?
BTW, the Kenneth Cole looks great and very comfortable to wear.

How do they fit in size compared to say Nike sneakers? I wear an 8.5 in sneakers, but I know these boots fit differently. Can anyone who own them please give some feedback? I'm not getting free shipping either.

Full size down. I wear a 10.5. 9.5 fits perfectly even with wool socks (after you break them in)

Clarks Desert Boots fit true to your brannock size in my experience. I measure a 7.5D and wear 7.5 in Clarks DB.

I wear a 12-13 in Nike depending on the shoe and am an 11 in Clarks. I'd definitely say full size down.

They might look great and feel comfortable but they are not durable and have terrible customer care.

Hmm.. don't know how to feel about these boots. I'm okay with the Clark's brand in general. They're more of a fashion brand so skew a little expensive and a little uncomfortable but that's what I expect if I skimp on dress shoes.

These are a bit too modern? Too much of a heel for us taller guys.

I don't like the ankle but perhaps with the right hem they'd look fine.

Unless you're under 30, definitely wouldn't see wearing the Navy.

To each their own though

This code works on other shoes too, I was able to get the Atticus Limit down to $59.99 with this (regular price $135). Great post.

These desert Clark's looks fake and cheap compared to the desert Clark's you get from England.
