So, at just over a dollar off the regular Walmart price (a 6.9% discount), is this considered a deal?

Looks like cotton:

Fruit of the Loom Men's Boxer Briefs were designed with comfort and everyday wear in mind. Each pair features Dual Defense, providing moisture wicking and long lasting odor protection. They feature a secure fit leg design that eliminates ride up, preventing distracting adjustments throughout the day. The functional fly provides support, while the soft cotton fabric keeps you cool and comfortable in every situation. They are also tag free for even greater comfort. This 10 pack features black and gray boxer briefs at a great value. Classic Boxer Briefs, No Ride Up, Super Value, Bonus Pack, Back to School, Assorted

If your going fruit of the loom, go ever lite. Super cool, super comfortable. Not much price difference. Especially like the long leg version

Walmart has the EverLight style suggested by NarcanMan for $14.76 for either a 3-pack or a 4-pack. That's $4.92 or $3.69, each, depending on which package size is chosen, versus $1.40 each for the 10-pack in the original deal posted by SlickDealio.

Do they shrink? I've had some brands that fit well then shrink after washes and long briefs become short leg briefs. I end up buying a size up.

Mine never shrink. I wash them in cold water. Hanes on the other hand do. Never like hanes.

These do not shrink been wearing fruit of the loom for years, way better than hanes, hanes not only shrinks but their quality has been going down the last few years so I offically stopped buying hanes.

I would split the difference and go with the Micro-Mesh Boxer Briefs [walmart.com]. Only $13.96 for a 5 pack ($2.79 each).
