This any good? No Tim Horton's around me. 100% Arabica -- same as McDonald's?

I wonder if this is any different than the Tim Horton beans you can bag up/grind in the grocery store? If not, this is a good deal. $7.99/lb normal price at the grocery store. This deal is cheaper than when it goes on sale for $5.99/lb. Thank you OP.

They should be the same, the only difference being the prepacked bag was roasted then sealed up whereas the bulk beans were roasted, sealed, opened, and left to sit in a store's bulk bin for who knows how long.

Fresh coffee grounds foam up when you put hot water on top. I only buy bulk these days if there's no prepacked beans on sale and I need some ASAP.

Seems to be the common trend with Amazon food sales. I generally avoid stocking up on food from Amazon for this reason.

Also coffee is usually stamped for expiration 12 to 18 months after roasting. Coffee is usually best within 2 weeks to 1 month after roasting.

I"m always tempted by these 2lb coffee offers. But my storage container can only hold about a 1lb. What do most people use to keep this much coffee fresh?
