Harbor Freight makes great impact sockets everyone talks very highly about them. They are made in Taiwan. Best part they are so cheap you can buy two sets keep one as backup. Life time warranty and you can go to any harbor freight and replace them.

HF doesn't sell complete sets, which is a joke. I'd be all over them if they did.

Never heard of Tekton.

Who makes them and what kind if warranty do they have?

I recently bought the 4885 version, which swaps the 10, 16, 20 & 23 for a 27, 30 & 32 (it has one less socket), since I needed the 32 for an axle nut. I got it on Google Express using their recent 25% off promo, and it came out to $31.27 + tax. Amazon's current price for it is $26.56, so it's also a deal and perhaps more so depending on your needs. I haven't used it yet but it seems like a good set. It should go nicely with my new Craftsman 1/2" impact wrench (kudos to whoever directed me to it recently, $130 - $25 off + $125 CB spread out over a year, very similar to the Ryobi if not the same thing inside).

TEKTON 1/2-Inch Drive Deep Impact Socket Set, Metric, Cr-V, 6-Point, 11 mm - 32 mm, 14-Sockets | 488... [amazon.com]

Btw, I recently got an Evolv shallow impact set from Sears, that had the 10mm that the 4885 is missing (for some reason none of the shallow Tekton sets seems to have a 10mm, which is a very common size). But it lacks detents on the female 1/2" end for the anvil ball. Is that bad? It has the impact socket hole, but the fit's a bit loose compared to detents.

I have a Tekton torque wrench that I bought a couple years ago.
Quality is fine, don't know about the accuracy though!

Not just US, and it's SAE or Inch. And if you take a look at the product page on Amazon, you can find links to the SAE/Inch versions, and I'm guessing some are also on sale.

Btw does Tekton make a decent and affordable (under $50) 1/2" drive ratchet & socket set, metric only, 6 point, either deep or shallow?

Thanks, in for one. At this price it's a no brainer.

For those worried about Tekton, don't fret. I have 3 different sized Tekton torque wrenches, and a full set of crescent wrenches. I would say they are on par with GearWrench, who makes good quality stuff.
