Viewers should be warned that there's an extremely violent sexual assault in the middle of Ninja Scroll.

Ninja Scroll is one of the best anime movies of all time IMO, classic, hyper-violent, '90s anime.

Grave of the Fireflies is on the opposite end of the spectrum and one of the best movies of all time, period, no qualifiers needed.

Can't recommend Royal Space Force enough. If you are a fan of hand drawn art and good stories, it's a must.

Might pick up Tamako Love Story and Amagi Brilliant Park. Best prices I've seen on them.

Crazy how Ajin S2 Premium edition is cheaper than the standard bluray lol.

Anahi and Tamako are few bucks cheap at Sentai's Summer sale. Ends tonight though and shipping might get you unless you get at least 75$

Can't believe NS is cheaper than VHD... Both excellent flicks with the edge to NS.

Apart from Grave of the Fireflies and Children Who Hear Lost Voices, I'm not familiar with any of these. I've tried to watch pieces of some anime and sometimes the animation is worse than the old cheap Saturday morning cartoons (before they used computers for almost everything).

Do any of the others in this list have quality animation like Studio Ghibli animated features?

If you like violent movies with sword play, and some fantasy, Ninja Scroll is a safe bet. It was made in the early 90's, and is still the best anime movie I've seen. Sequel wasn't as good IMO. I'm not big into anime, but that movie is solid all around.
