TI-84 Plus CE Graphing Calculator $99.99 In Store at Target

Target has the TI-84 Plus CE (Color Edition) on sale this week for $99.99 in store. (As of now, they are not selling the calculator online even though they have in previous years.)

Please note that even though the last couple of years this calculator sold for $89.99 when on sale, data points this year imply that the selling price is higher this year and may not go below this price of $99.99. I am basing this on the fact that last year at this time period Staples had the calculator on sale already for 2 weeks at the $89.99 price level and so far this year Staples is holding steady at $119.99. Also, last year Target had it on sale for $89.99 and as you can see this year it is $99.99 on sale.

And make sure the intended user can use a CE!

Our 7th grade grandchild has to get a TI 84 BUT CANNOT BRING a Color model to class. B&W is fine!

now is that prejudice?

The profit margins on these calculators must be insane.

They absolutely are. But TI has a monopoly on the marketplace, and since virtually every school nowadays requires parents to supply these, they can get away charging whatever they want.

Hmmm, I guess all the people giving this deals thumbs down would rather buy the calculator at Staples for $119.99, at Office Depot for $119.99, at Best Buy for $149, or at Walmart for $112.

Most schools won't let the kids use their phone. Definitely not able to use a phone on the sat's.

It is shown on Staples website now on next week's ad. $89.99 in store only. I think you can get $5 if you use Amex offer (Get 10% back as a statement credit each time you use your enrolled Card in-store or online at US Office supply stores by 9/17/2018. Limit $5 in total credits)
