You also won't see the higher speeds depending on the SD reader of the device you are using. Many laptops use an internal USB2.0 connection for the SD card reader which limits speeds to about 30MB/s no matter how fast the card is.

You wasted a half hour for $2? Wow...

Pretty sure those were for the older U1 versions [amazon.com]. This is the newer, faster U3 version.

Anyhow, thanks OP! Bought one on Prime Day, so I'll get a few bucks back with my CC's price protection.

I think this is the best price for this since last Black Friday ($18).

I buy too many of these on black Friday with no particular purpose in mind, and I'm down to one. Should be able to hold off for a few months, but good price if you need one, thanks op

Just make sure you verify the cards and their speeds. I've gotten several of these EVO of various flavors that are not reaching anywhere near what the claimed performance standard for the particular card is. I mean not even in the ballpark. I've learned with SD cards that any of them under $75 perform like shit in general regardless of the brand or reputation or whatever. Usually it's the write speed that suffers terribly from the rated specs.
Was it U3 tho?

This failed on me after a year of barely any use. Does anyone know the warranty process since it has 10 year warranty?
