These things work amazing. We have one we got from Target for around $13. It beats using drano and those plastic things to yank all the hair back up.

This looks like something that was featured on Shark Tank. I don't think my tub gets clogged enough for this to feel worthwhile for me, but dandy if it works and your kin shed a lot.

I didn't think that I shed a lot of hair in the tub since I'm not a daily shampooer, but at least a few times a year my husband has to unclog the tub drain due to buildup of my hair. I wash my hair all over the house in the bathroom and kitchen sinks and in the bathtub, so I spread the love and don't overwhelm any one drain. I have very curly hair that litters the tub and I clean it up instead of pushing it down the drain. Obviously some still goes down, but I thought I did a good job of keeping a good bit out. According to last week's clog, not enough. Interested to see how well this does.

What makes this any better that the white discs you can buy at Walmart for a few dollars?

I use one that looks like this that I bought at Walmart:

That's the one I buy, too. It's amazing and completely solved my hair clog problem. I replace it twice a year because it kind of gets gross and discolored and the sharp little nubs make it hard to scrub, but I can't imagine the Tubshroom stays all that clean either.

I'm a male with short hair and I never thought much of my hair went down the drain. After the first time using this i was amazed how much hair it caught

I have one which was on shark tank and it's horrible. When it gets 'filled', it's not only hair but disgusting jelly of all sorts of stuff that Normally would go through drain but gets caught. Does that paint enough of aweful picture for all?

As a guy with a wife and two daughters - all with at least shoulder length hair, I'm grateful for having one of these.

The water keeps flowing while it's catching hair. It doesn't slow down. This thing seriously works. My gf has thick long hair and trust me, I've cleaned that drain. With this thing, i haven't had to do it in over a year now!

Pretty sure that's not "jelly". Or "hair gel". And there are lots of ways to prevent that.

It's more likely soap scum.

I have one of these and believe me, nobody realizes how much hair they lose until you get one of these. If you don't like pulling hairs (among other things) out of your shower drain with the snake and then using Draino to clean it all, get this. It'll save you a lot of time.

One downside is that if your family loses a fair amount of hair, it will get filled quite fast which means you'll need to clear it of hair every few days or once a week.

Interesting, but that one is $12.33 AC, not $8.33, so not the same price. And not many reviews.

Please share how. I only like jelly on my biscuits.

Husband unclogs the drain. Not sure if I can get him to clean this thing too. :/
