Pictures don't show but specifications say there are, so... are there USB ports on this thing or not? Looking to plug a raspberry pi to it which would work if there were 2.4A USB ports on there.

Thanks!

There may be a USB port that can be used to connect to a computer and use with APC software

Looking at the manual here: http://www.apc.com/salestools/AHU..._R2_EN.pdf

It appears there are no USB ports on this model. "USB charging ports (BE850M2/850M2-LM only)"

Thanks... After looking BN900M in the chart from the manual it does not have USB ports. Other models do and they are 2.4A.

Thinking about mounting one of these in the garage to plug in garage door openers. Do they generate enough juice for that?

These things are garbage. If you like to listen to high pitched coil whine, then this is a solid buy.

PSA: This is just a basic UPS with no brownout protection. I recommend spending a bit more money for one with AVR (Automatic Voltage Protection) like this one if you intend to plug in a computer:

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/apc-...Id=6070701

Where I live, the power is pretty stable and brownouts (under-voltage) are more common than a total loss of power (very rare).

Note Best Buy says it has a full load (480 watts) run time of 354 minutes. This is highly unlikely.
Per CNET [cnet.com]
5.9 hrs at 10 Watts
90 min at 40 Watts
41 min at 80 Watts
14.8 min at 180 Watts

480 watts would only be about 5.5 minutes.
