I think the guess was right that Huawei built a ton of these in anticipation of the AT&T postpaid release. The price on these could drop a lot further in the next few months. $300.00 or less for a phone of this quality would be pretty sweet even if it's no longer supported.

Another chinese phone. Pass. Seriously guys, phone will have so much information about your life so dont cheap on it. spend 100 dollars more for galaxy note 8 or something.
All the parts on your phone are made in China. Open the phone take it apart and you'll see. Smilie

Great Phone with excellent battery life and camera. There is https://openkirin.net/ for those with the fear this phone will not be supported in the future.

I would agree this should now be a 300 dollar phone, as support is going to be non-existent and would only be a good phone for about a year. The resale of this phone is going to be in the low 100's in a year's time as well. It's a shame as this is/was on my top of the list for the next phone. By Thanksgiving you should be able to get it for 3xx. Much like other any android flagships.

I have the mate 10 pro since launch. It's the best phone I have but now I can't really recommend it. Don't get me wrong I love the phone but the phone still on April security patch. And recent announcement update schedule excluded North America model. My friend in Asia own this phone and p10 already got face unlock last month.

Update, 07/16 at 6:44 p.m. EDT: If you live in the U.S. and happen to own a Huawei device on the list below, you're out of luck. In a statement to Android Authority, a Huawei representative confirmed that the GPU Turbo update is not headed to any Huawei smartphone in the United States.

I tried to post this message at Huawei mobile Facebook page, they delete the message and block me and now I can't even made a comment. If security and system update is important to you, stay away from this phone.

the device will be supported. regardless I owned both and ditched both of them. GP2XL blue tint annoyed the shit out of me. M10P form factor felt too small but enjoyed the experience more. To each their own.

That is only you can get the bootloader unlocked. Not likely for those that are getting on the deal today, as today is the last day to request for unlock code from Huawei.
