Costco has the new Surface Go 4GB 128GB SSD with included TYPE cover for $549

Best buy has the Surface Go 8GB, 128GB model for $549 with $50 GC, in this deal posted: https://slickdeals.net/f/11853815-microsoft-surface-go-10-touch-screen-4gb-ram-64-gb-storage-399-50-best-buy-gc

But this is arguably an even better deal, because it includes the Type cover (typically reails at $129.99) included in the bundle. Keep in mind it's only 4GB ram but might be a good tradeoff if you want more storage and less RAM.

You might be right and I wouldn't mind knowing those myself. Any < 13 inch ultraportable with similar specifications? Keep in mind selling the type cover would yield a price closer to $450. Most < $450 laptops don't fit the ultraportable or high-resolution small-form-factor market.

There is something wrong with Costco's listing. There is no 4GB RAM with 128GB drive version available for this unit. It's either a 4GB RAM with 64GB emmc, or 8GB RAM with a 128GB SSD.

$570 isn't really close to $450. It's not a fair comparison IMHO.

Surface only has Pentium...i rather pay $120 more for i3.

and it looks like its 4GB with 64gb ssd for Costco at $450.

8GB and 128gb ssd - i am sure its competitive price.

Yes, even I would buy something more powerful for myself, but this is a personal preference. There isn't really an ultraportable in the market with the screen resolution and features the surface Go offers for it's price. That's all I'm saying Smilie

Surface...is still a Surface...I don't consider them a laptop. :-)

The Surface is about the same size as an iPad and weighs 1.15 lb. The 13" Dell laptop weighs 3.5 lb. They are not comparable.

This is a previously unannounced model; normally you have 64GB+4GB ($349) and 128GB+8GB ($549). The 128GB model is the one to go for because it is an NVME SSD vs slow eMMC in the 64GB model. Additionally this bundle comes with the Type Cover.

https://www.costco.com/Microsoft-...28070.html

So this is basically $100 less than the 128GB/8GB + Type Cover combo (which is $650). If you can make do with 4GB of RAM, this is a good deal for a non-power user.

Not bad, but 4gb ram is a deal killer for me.
