Some of the things I like about this Blendtec is the 2 blunt blades. When it's turned off, it is super easy to get all the stuff that is blended out, as opposed to 4 super sharp blades on vitamix. Also, I can stick my hand down into the jar to easily clean it and not worry I will cut myself. You appreciate it after owning other blenders that are scary because of the sharp 4 blades.

I like the compactness of this unit, also the presets work great for me.

Once you learn NOT to over-load the blender, that is half the battle. I learned the hard way. It has safety feature that if it has too much in jar, it will give over-load message, to not burn out the motor.

I usually put in 16 oz of water first, then frozen strawberries, blueberries, protein powder, frozen kale, frozen banana, and it makes NICE CREAM, tastes great to me. Also I mix it up and add walnuts, pecans, heavy cream. It blends it perfectly smooth and creamy.

8 year warranty is great too.

Price is good today too, it ranges between around this range all the way up to 395 price. This is NEW not used.
Look on Youtube for suggestions on blending stuff.

The two refurbs I have purchased both had zero cycle counts. The counters are reset after the motors are reconditioned.

I believe these are normally 300-350. I got a refurbished for this price a year ago and I would highly recommend it.

I bought the exact model in December for $150. It comes in a brown non labeled box, which some SD's said they think this was a refurb but the cycle count was at zero for me. It is a good product other than this is the standard instead of the wildside jar. Sometimes the ingredients stick and they do not want to go into the blades.

Keep in mind this is the 4 sided jar, not their patented 5 side.
