Bought several for $10.56 a few weeks ago. Still a good price for quality leather belts. Kust with they made them narrower

You should specify in the title that the only size available for this deal is 26 - 36 inches.
Not true. Just got 26-42 for the OP's stated price.

Got one of these about a year ago, will never go back to a non-ratcheting style. Thing has lasted so much longer than any other belt I've had simply because I haven't had to bend it to get the hole lined up.

Amazon 4.3 out of 5 stars. Fakespot gives the ratings a solid "D". I'll pass...

I thought the same till i tried one.
No more need to find the right hole, just adjust the belt to your comfort even when seating.
Thanks OP, in for another one!

I have one of these and it has turned out great. I hate going back to my regular non-ratcheting belts.
The quality on this was better than I expected. My current one is worn probably 4 days a week and was purchased back in December of 2016. It has held up fine and I picked up another from this post.
With that being said, these belts can be found at similar $10-$12 prices at various times throughout the year.

What?

Product Description: "West Leathers belts are made with high quality genuine leather concealed with fortifying polyurethane. They are crafted with fine leathers that breathe, repel moisture and age gracefully."

I had to look up what is meant by "concealed with fortifying polyurethane" as it sounded like paint to me.
Turns out it does allow for products to be manufactured in many colors as no leather will be in sight.

Here is a partial quote from reference.com:
"Polyurethane, or PU, coated leather is split hide leather that is bonded and covered with a polyurethane coat, and then embossed with grain patterns to simulate the appearance of top grain leather."

I think 'll save my $10 for a future deal on a real top grain leather belt.

Truth in advertising: this belt could be listed as a "concealed leather core" or "painted and stamped to imitate top grain leather" item.

Maybe everyone else already knew this but I learned something new here.

Thank you to the OP for prompting me to further educate myself.

agree racheting belts are far superior to the standard prong/loop types. My belt has lasted for years, and despite noticing some fraying/cracking, I just cut that part off to prolong the life.

Not a lot of styles here, not sure I can pull off the black on black look, but will probably give it a try.
There are tons of chinese manufactured/knock-offs on Amazon in this price range, but often with some really gaudy buckle designs.

It took me some getting used to but Everytime I go to regular belts I get annoyed with the amount of looping and shifting I have to do to adjust it.

If I feel fat, I press a button and it loosens. If I feel skinny, I just push the belt closer and it locks to whatever I tighten it to. Very fast and easy.
