I just placed order for this. you save an additional 17% with coupon code 17DOsitewidec12. Is this a good deal - I am considering returning ideapad 720S which also came to around the same price.

Nice convertible, if that's what you're after and are fine with Y series processor.

Having said that, you're paying premium for convertible format by paying $700 for Y processor with 8GB/256GB config without a fan. If you don't need convertible format or do not mind a fan, there are better deals to be had.

This is listed as "New". Outlet does sell in new condition.

If you're dead set on XPS you don't have any other options. Outlet is your best bet for finding a good deal.

If you consider other manufacturers such as Asus/Lenovo/HP, you can get better config for comparable money.

Dell XPS build is usually better than all those and with a good deal like this it's a no brainer

Refurb Asus Flip S UX370 on ebay was $700 just a few days ago. It had similar build quality but was equipped with 8550U/16GB/512GB/Win10Pro.

Not sure if you use the 10% off AAA discount and the student $100 GC in this deal.

I wouldn't compare refurb with new.
