The only thing more annoying than vegans who can't stop talking about being vegan is basic bro non-vegans who think they're being edgy and funny by talking smack about vegans.

People will bash these just because it's edgy to make fun of vegans. (They do make an easy target.) But I decided to try a mostly plant-based diet on a whim, because I haven't been happy with the way I've been looking or feeling. (Middle aged man, decent shape, I lift religiously, but an ever-expanding gut, and I always feel tired.)

So far it's been great. I eat vegan 6 days a week, fresh, whole foods (except for protein shakes), and have one "cheat day" where I can eat steak, burgers, nachos, sushi, whatever. Only a couple weeks in, but I'm not starving myself, I've lost several pounds already, and I feel like I have more energy. It may not be for everyone, but don't knock it until you've tried it.

Thumbs up for a good way to use my Amazon digital credits!

Vegans have lower risk of heart disease as well. And diabetes, obesity and so on. Also, the beyond burger doesn't need oil to cook in, I've cooked a few and I've never used additional oil. It's also antibiotic free, hormone free, cholesterol free, the list goes on.

Great find! I have a vegan and a vegetarian in the house and I'm always looking for new recipes. This is one of the restaurants I want to try when in NYC next time!

The majority of vegans are junk-food vegans , so they'll just die off no problem..

They eat greasy things like Beyond Meat, which has fat content as high as lean meats..

If you add the oil they have to cook it in, ontop of the pattie itself, along with vegan sauces, or vegan cheese

It really makes their vegan-ism rather pointless..

They will have significantly reduced cancer risk, but heart disease awaits all of them just the same..
laugh out loud

Chloe is no longer involved with the restaurants (By Chloe) that she founded and is suing the new owners [eater.com].
