90% off blue star toys at Dollar General YMMV

Blue star toys at the Dollar General are currently ringing up 90% off..

The signs in our store still had them listed at 50% but they aren't.

Be sure you look at top shelves, that's where we found a lot of the toys.!

Star wars sets, Barbies puzzles, & others is what we found!

This summarized DG's goal for the United States - make sure that 100% of the population has at least two within a 5 minute drive.

Do they have price checkers or self checkout? I'm not going to the register with 20+ items and asking for a price check

I have 1 within a mile of my house

I thought they wouldn't get any closer. Now, I literally have one right around the corner (1 turn, not even a quarter mile)

Well just went to the only one near me (in SoCal), I see see signs about green dot home items for 50% off, nothing about blue dot in toys. and I dont see any tags with blue dots.

oh well, toy selection was really terrible. I doubt I would've bought anything even with the discount.

There were no signs for us either. We just took all the blue star toys and if they didn't ring right I was gonna say I didn't want them.

Went to one nearby and was able to grab a blue star that the kiddo would like that wasn't previously opened or mangled for $0.50 from $5. No signs and horrid selection but good deal nevertheless. Edit: In Houston, TX

My store only had blue square toys (is it the same). The manager said she can give me 50% off for the trouble of coming there, but its not a blue star. Is she right? Anyway to know which stores still have them?
