This is the same author who wrote Enemy at the Gates, which was the basis for the Hollywood movie of the same title. So, definitely worth a read.

Top notch. Reads like a suspense novel.

Same name but nothing like the movie. The book, Enemy at the Gates, is an excellent Stalingrad story the movie not so much.

Years ago on the History channel there was a show about the fall of Japan and it claimed Truman botched the Japanese surrender as we had cracked their code years earlier, and then botched the war crime trials.
