I'm a guy that has no clue about this stuff, but my 15 year old daughter loves this stuff. Other then the one mentioned, what's the best deals? Does it make sense to buy the $10 free shipping deal and get the free samples for Seperate orders? I'm thinking of ordering like 6 of them. But a little lost. Thanks for any help!

I love Sephora products, this isn't a bad deal at all (especially if you travel a lot)! The only problem with buying multiple ones is that you don't know for sure which box you will get, and you could end up with the same products. I think when you click add to bag there's a chance of 5 different boxes you could get. Edit: just found out from a friend they're always $10, they're just listing it where you don't have to have a subscription

These are past boxes, so what is in each box is already known. It's listed. Each box has 5 variation and you can select each variation inside the listing. So you know exactly what you are getting. The subscription is always a mystery. This is a way for them to get rid of inventory and for us to be able to pick the ones we like.

I edited it to list all the variation in case u don't find it.

I don't understand why you'd pay for samples.
You can just walk into any Sephora or department store and get a free sample.
You can also bring a small jar and ask to have it filled with tester/display.

If you plan on getting more than one box, yes its definitely worth it since u get free shipping for the year. You can use it to buy Christmas presents, lol.

The one i listed is probably the best deal. Your daughter can use the drunk elephant mask and your wife might steal the Dr. Dennis Gross Ferulic + Retinol Wrinkle Recovery Peel. That is also $88 for i think 17 pieces? (there's 2 in each of these box)

for a 15 year old i would get
The Box: Beauty Goals
Box B:
– 0.17 oz/ 5 mL Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara in Noir
– 0.1 oz/ 3 mL Benefit The POREfessional Face Primer
– 0.35 oz/ 10 mL Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo
– 0.006 oz/ 0.2 mL Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper
– 0.33 oz/ 10 mL Sephora Collection Mud Mask Purifying & Mattifying
– 0.04 oz/ 1.18 mL Yes Saint Laurent Black Opium

She gets a nice mascara and a kat von D eye liner (teens love them right now), dry shampoo for when she is late for school. At her age she would probably prefer more of the makeup and hair stuff.

The point of this really is to 1. Try items u might want to try and is too lazy to go to sephora and 2. to buy more than one box and get the full size amount for only a fraction of the cost.

I mean if u want to think about it that way, why would anyone ever buy anything at sephora if they can just go there every day to get a new sample? lol some people just don't like to ask for samples.

Free shipping starts at $50, otherwise it's $5.99. Any way to work around this?

Depending on how much/often you shop at Sephora, you can spend $10 and then get free 2-day shipping for a year on all orders.

https://www.sephora.com/product/s...9518?icid2

So if you can't get $50 here for free shipping, but buy stuff at Sephora even once a month, I would say this $10 is worth it cause it goes towards future shopping as well.

Because it's fun. My wife & daughter love getting beauty boxes in the mail. $10 for hero status for the day? I'll take it.

Overall, just a monthly subscription would be pretty nice for your daughter. I would be concerned about buying her these boxes though.. most of the products are pretty boring for a young girl -- the deals are skin creams that middle age women tend to drift towards.

For a younger girl I would say going into a store and being supportive of her getting a makeover and buying her a few nice things in person would go much further. Both in actual value for her -- and future relationship building between the two of you.

I guess technically you COULD.. But I never feel asking for more than 2 products tops. These are travel size, larger quantity than a "sample" for most products. And unless you do extensive research about each and every new product out, you probably do miss quite a bit of great ones you may never even hear about. Lastly, if you pay the $10 fee or have the Rouge free shipping, you don't have to worry about driving to the store, you get 5 new products each month ! And then ofcourse the concept of a "mystery box" is enticing !
