I know a lot of people don't like the smaller size drives, but these things are perfect if you're the "family IT guy/gal". For less than $40, you can make grannie's computer feel so much faster for her. Endless Wether's Originals will be in your future.

to claim this warranty do I have to save the paper receipt from newegg? Or digital invoice will be enough? Thanks.

I don't want to discourage the OP because we need this kind of posting to be up to date but the review on this SSD is terrible. I like the 5 year warranty but... will wait for something better. 120GB is exactly the size I need. I have no problem with that.

I simply can not find these negative reviews. 80% five star and 92% five star on Amazon. PC World was also very positive on this drive.

One of the negative reviews was bogus as they claimed 2 and a half years of use on a one year old drive.

Evidently a few shipped with problems but hard to find anything that does not have a bad one on occasion. Sure this might not happen with a much more expensive drive but why not try this. Back it up just in case. Most people use along with the drive the PC came with. If in a notebook it is cheap to buy a case for the old drive to use it to back up.

Seems to me this is worth the extra cost. PC World said it was far better on larger files. The warranty is also better.
