Thanks! Been looking for a solid deal on a few HDD's for a new NAS I'm building. Coincidentally, I had 4 of these drives individually in my cart and was about to check out, but decided to check Slickdeals one last time before pulling the trigger. 30 seconds saved me $140! TYVM

The previous deal was better as I think you could get the 10tb version for like $280ish. I know they are different sizes usually when one size goes on sale the other sizes do too and now the 10tb are about $320. Hope they go back to that price again only got 3...oh yeah and as far as drives they are pretty nice. People say they are loud and compared to ssd yeah, but compared to any other 7200rpm drive not really. I will say I wouldn't put your nas where you sleep tho if you get annoyed by repetitive sounds lol.

It's no problem man, I was just surprised to hear that the prices could possibly have been that low for a 10TB laugh out loud

Which versions are more quiet? There are a lot of noise issues with this brand of drives -- though very reliable. I heard different versions use different gas and different sealing and different settings.

Is the 4TB, the 6TB, the 8TB, or the 10TB better for lower noise and better gas? Ive definitely heard there are differences.
