Ah well, I'll chance a buck for a little couch co-op game.

Reviews don't treat this game well (and I've seen it pop up a few times on videos about crap-ware starting to plague the eShop for a buck just to get quick revenue from little effort).

that's actually kind of interesting. has the nintendo platform finally gotten easy enough to access and generate content for that the eShop will start to resemble the Play store or equivalent? how long until we see a ton of free-to-play (with ads, or pay to advance, etc) ?

Well Nintendo said they're pushing to release 20 to 30 games a week to the eshop, so I imagine most of that will be shovelware garbage...

There are already a ton of crappy games for cheap, tons of ports, and already free-to-play with in-app purchases. And like the other post says, if Nintendo plans to allow so many games per week, their standards will be lowered immensely.
