*Insertion and optional advanced upgrade fees may apply. Included categories require specific item conditions. See below for more details.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please note: Sellers must activate the Promotion by selecting "Activate offer [ebay.com]" from within the invitation email, the Promotion landing page, or from within the Promotional Offers module within My eBay. Items listed prior to a seller activating the Promotion, or Wednesday, July 25, 2018, will not be eligible for the Promotion.

What is the Promotion?
Sellers ("Sellers") who activate the offer, and pursuant to the terms and conditions set forth herein, list an item in the Cell Phones & Smartphones Category (9355) during the Promotion Period, will pay maximum final value fees of $5 per item for the first three (3) items that sell for $50 or more ("Promotion").

Eligible listings for the Promotion include auction-style, auction-style with the Buy It Now feature added, or fixed price formats (including Good 'Til Cancelled listings), with any listing duration.

Final value fees will still be applied to the total amount of the sale including the cost of the item, shipping, and any other fees a seller may charge—excluding any sales tax. However, the maximum final value fees have been reduced to $5 per item sold for $50 or more.

Please note: All existing selling limits on your account (as well as category and item limits) still apply. Listing fees may apply, depending on how many listings you have already created; learn more about seller fees, including number of free listings per month, by viewing our everyday rate plan [ebay.com].

Who's eligible?
This Promotion is available to sellers who: (i) activated the promotion; and (ii) meet eBay's minimum seller performance standards [ebay.com]. Please sign in to My eBay and view your Seller Dashboard [ebay.com] to verify whether your account is currently meeting the standards.

When is it?
This Promotion starts on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at 00:00:01 PT (12:00AM plus one second), and will end on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at 23:59:59 PT (11:59PM plus 59 seconds) for listings on www.ebay.com [ebay.com] (the "Promotion Period").

How do I activate the Promotion?
Sellers will automatically receive the Promotion after they activate the Promotion from the invitation email, the Promotion landing page, or from within the Promotional Offers module within My eBay. Sellers must then create listings on the US site at www.ebay.com [ebay.com] through the Sell Your Item form, eBay Seller Tools, eBay Mobile applications, and most third-party tools . The Promotion does not apply to items sold through eBay Valet. Any listings created prior to the time of activation will not be eligible for the Promotion. Please note that the discount may not be shown during the listing process. Instead, the discount will be reflected in the "Seller Account" section in My eBay, under the Account tab, as well as in your next invoice.

Avoid at all costs!! I just sold a brand new phone on ebay. Ebay forced me to return the phone to the buyer. The phone was brand new and sealed from the retailer. I sent a copy of the receipt. Told the buyer there was a 2 year warranty on the phone and if there was any problems to seek service directly from the manufacturer. I told the buyer she needed keep the phone on a charger for 24 hours and to update the o.s before putting a sim card in and they refused. There is no such thing as a No Return auction on ebay. Its just a big scam to get your confidence to sell your items. Also, Seller are not allowed to leave feedback on buyers. The person i dealt with had 800 positive feedbacks. This person also refused to pay for insurance on the phone. I ended paying the insurance. Ebay is bad news. Never list anything of value on ebay unless you're want to lose it.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Before you list or buy anything on ebay, i suggest going to resellerratings.com and see what people think about Ebay. You'll be surprised. They have a raing of 1.1 out of 10. One of the worst.

Always fold insurance in the shipping costs you list. Shipping is the sellers obligation. You don't hear Amazon or new egg or anyone requiring the customer purchase insurance.

The buyer files a SNAD claim and sends back a deck of cards or something similar and you are forced to refund by EBAY because you have no seller protection in this case.

So does Wal-Mart and any other big basic monopoly. EBay isn't the best, but its the biggest and no one really uses any other auction site. Occasional scumbag customer, but that's the same in any business. Better than getting shanked on Craigslist or the low ballers on letgo.

What a dreadful offer.

Ebay spends all their time d!cking around with dashboards, adding fees and alienating sellers.

Worst management in Tech.
