I won't argue about IPS vs TN thing, cause picture quality is better IPS of course. I myself switched from Dell IPS to this one due to 144Hz and G-Sync. If you're looking for a good gaming monitor, this is it.

I've been using this monitor for almost a year. And believe me, you won't find anything close in this price range. After calibration it takes the show.

I'd like to 2nd this... I've been using IPS for about 15 yrs now, and when I switched to this monitor the colors were fantastic and I honestly can't complain about the quality. I don't have them side by side to do a IPS/TN comparison but I bought the Alienware 25" G-Sync and immediately returned it b/c the colors were so bad. I chose this over all the other Alienware 34" deals for 2 reasons: supported resolution on OverWatch and for $850 I'd rather spend it on a BenQ short throw gaming projector. Basically... this is a good monitor at a decent price for those who missed out on the $399 + $100 Dell GC during the July 4th sale.

If you don't need Gsync or 144hz, I'd rather have the LG UK27UK600. IPS, 4K, HDR, and barely more expensive than this.

TN is TN, no matter how good it is...
