Hey Everyone,

Bestbuy has early access to their deals with Corsair K70 rapidfire Mechanical keyboard for $120 and the Strafe Silent Mechanical keyboard for $90, not as slick as the amazon deal but still good price. Definitely nice to have legit Cherry switches. Got in on the Alienware keyboard earlier in the week and got me considering changing in for the rapid fire.

Please note you have to be logged into your Bestbuy account to see the updated pricing.

Great deal. I got mine when it was ~$110. Just be warned that this keyboard dies if you spill liquids on it Smilie

Excellent gaming keyboard with great reviews.
Cue software allows unlimited customization.
Also, has a USB pass thru port, which minimizes clutter.

But how are you liking the K70? I have the Alienware with the Khalil brown switches and am fairly impressed with it... the k70 is still $50 more than what I paid for the Alienware...

I too got the Alienware and even though all internet reviews show overpriced, I think for the staples $50 or amazon $70 price, the keyboard is great. Now for $120, no.

I have this keyboard and I really like it. Came from an Apple Magic Keyboard 2, and i am still adjusting to the taller cap height, but they actuate nicely and quietly.

Pair this with the LexonElec G402 Gaming Mouse Wired [4000 DPI] [Programmable] [ RGB LED Backlight] Silent Optical Usb Ergonomic Game Computer Mice with 7 Buttons for PC, Pro Gamer (Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07B94G...wBb059B464 if you have sensitive roommates or spouse, and you can game late at night in the same room. They will thank you.

It was, but the brown switch one not the silent one. I bought one and am about to order the rubber o-rings you can put on the keys to quiet it a little more. Wish I had waited on this version to go on sale instead.

I bought mine on Prime day (roughly 73$ after tax or so)- typing on it (Strafe MX Cherry 'brown') right now - funny enough I just got the o-rings delivered today. As much as I like this keyboard I am tempted to jump on the Rapidfire and return the Strafe...

EDIT: nvm. speed switches, ehh

Hmm. I actually spilled milk into my Strafe. I just sat there staring at it while all the LEDs started going crazy and then after like 30 seconds the keyboard shut off.

I thought it died and that I should have tried to unplug it as fast as I could.

However, I decided to just take the keyboard now unplugged and literally held it under my sink faucet and ran water through it to rinse out the milk.

I then disassembled the keyboard and sat the circuit board out to dry and left it for a few days.

Then I re-assembled it and everything works perfectly. This happened over a year ago and it's still all working perfectly today. Not a single glitch or anything in the past year.

So at least from my point of view fwiw it seems robust.
