If a ps4 can run it, I don't see why the 1050 would struggle with the right settings.

My old i-2500k + R9 280 is doing ok with Medium settings. It def has some stutter points but is more than playable.

About 1 hour into this game I thought "I'm not sure this feels like classic Final Fantasy".

After 5 hours I thought "this game is the perfect blend of FFs and Square properties".

Really liking it so far despite always loving the turn based, random encounters of FF6-10.

A 1050 shouldn't be too bad at 1080p. CPU?

I have i5 7300hq, 8gb ram. 1080p is playable with low setting.

To each their own of course, but I despised FFXV. It's the only FF of the franchise that I could not play through to the end. Driving around in a car getting gas for hours, oogling Cid's daughter, pointless picture taking, etc, etc. I've been playing FF since the original NES, and FFXV is reminiscent of zero other FFs I can think of.

FWIW, I'm still playing FFXIV for my fix.

FFXV's story is incomplete and an utter mess. Ginormous waste of time. Maybe worth it at $10 or less, but not at this price.

Awesome price considering how much stuff is bundled in with the Windows Edition. I've played every FF since 6, and FFXV managed to top all the other FF titles for me. Note that it's really different from past FF titles, as the method of delivery is different (no neverending cutscenes, no verbose detailed explanation of the plot twist just in case someone didn't get it). Since this game, I've started to notice how irritating JRPGs are (and i've played JRPGs my entire life), with the long af cutscenes - but that's just me. for some people, long cut scenes doesn't bother them.

On PC it's definitely demanding, both in CPU and GPU. Recommend 16GB ram at least (8GB is workable if have all settings low, but 16 is really recommended). There's a free demo on steam for folks who are interested but not sure if their machine would play it well.

Early beginning before grasslands were good and end where he grew up were good. The whole middle game sucked. Sad game, either way. I shed some tears!

There's also a Demo on Steam people can try to see how the game runs and looks on their computer. I played enough of it to know it's not the Final Fantasy games of years past. Frown

Ugh man...never buying day one again. I got a pricing glitch at the time...on GMG no less...and got FF15 game for $30 day one but man...getting this and FF12 for $18 would have been a whole lot of savings. A whole game or two worth of savings. Got FF12 and FF15 around the same time for $30 each and then this sale hits and man it kinda hurts. lol. I dont regret it but damn. I didnt think it would fall so hard so quick. Straight $20 worth of savings.
